Welcome to La Vista for the 2012 MPLA/NLA/NSLA Tri-Conference!
For 2012, we are looking “Back to the Basics” as we are joined by MPLA for three days of library-related programs and exhibits in what is expected to be the biggest annual conference that Nebraska has ever hosted.

We return to the fabulous La Vista Conference Center on Oct. 17-19 for  many fascinating conference sessions, new and returning exhibitors, and an opportunity to meet and reconnect with old and new colleagues alike.

The conference program committee is proud to announce that Dr. Tom Osborne will be serving as our keynote speaker.    For those of you not from Nebraska, Dr. Osborne is the former head football coach of the University of Nebraska as well as a former member of Congress, serving six years in the US House of Representatives.  Dr. Osborne is currently the Athletic Director at the University of Nebraska.

Dr. Osborne, along with his wife Nancy, is also the founder of the TeamMates Mentoring Program which provides support and encouragement to school-aged youth. The goal of the program is to see youth graduate from high school and pursue post-secondary education by working with a community mentor.   The TeamMates Mentoring Program currently provides a mentor for over 5,000 youth across Nebraska, Iowa, and California.

Additional information is being added daily to this website. Keep checking back for updates!

We look forward to seeing you October 17-19 at the La Vista Conference Center!
