As a benefit of membership in NLA, members will be added to the General Mailing List using his/her email address The purpose of the list is to communicate pertinent association information to members in a timely and cost-effective manner. You may elect to unsubscribe from the list yourself by emailing the Mailing List Postmasteror the Executive Director.
This list is a two-way, un-moderated list. You can expect to receive a limited number of messages. To limit traffic, members are asked to check the Posting Guidelines — Acceptable Content before posting messages or to forward the message to an officer for posting. People who flood the Mailing List or who post irrelevant information will be removed from the list. Readers of a list should reply directly to the sender of any notice and not to the list for the entire membership to read. Please know that there is no way for readers of a list to obtain the email addresses of others.
The all-inclusive list address is members@nebraskalibraries.org. If posted information is intended for a specific section or roundtable, please include that in the Subject line. For example, Subject: SCYP Members-Golden Sower Announcement.
Please alert the Executive Director if your e-mail address changes, and she will change your Mailing List email address for the list, or you can update it in Memberclicks yourself.

Discussion of professional issues involving Nebraska libraries or librarians may be initiated on these lists to identify interested parties, but the continuance of the discussion should be conducted only among interested parties, not on the Lists.
- Examples:
- A member wants to start a survey among some Nebraska or Section or Round Table libraries
- A member wishes to know what other libraries are engaged in some activity
- A member wishes to organize an event of limited interest

No ALAWON posts or forwards; please join ALAWON instead
