October 13
1:00 p.m – 5:00 p.m.
Cost: $5.00
Program evaluation includes a wide variety of methods to evaluate many aspects of programs in libraries. The session will consist of an introduction to evaluations, their designs, methods, and techniques of analysis. Participants will be oriented to the nature of program evaluation and how it can be carried out using a practical, relevant and realistic approach. The NLA/NLC’s 2009 Internship Grant Program will be used as a model. (Participants will draw on their own programming experience and design an appropriate basic evaluation.)
