What we do: The purpose of the Technical Services Round Table is to promote the communication of ideas and interests of its members who are concerned with: acquisitions, collection development, cataloging and classification, preservation, serials control, interlibrary loan and document delivery. –from the TSRT Bylaws

How we do it: TSRT sponsors presentations and workshops at both the Fall NLA/NEMA Conference and at a Spring Meeting. These sessions are sometimes co-sponsored with another NLA Section or Round Table.

We are affiliated with: TSRT participates in the Affiliate Relations Committee, which brings together state groups under the auspices of the Association for Library Collections and Technical Services (ALCTS) of the American Library Association.

TSRT’s greatest valued-added? Meeting and networking with other Nebraska librarians who work in or are interested in Technical Services. We confer with each other by phone and E-mail, seeking advice and counsel as we address situations in our own libraries.
