Have an Idea for a Presentation at NLA Conference?
Are you interested in hosting a session at the Nebraska Library Association Annual Conference this fall? Do you need a sponsor for your session? The New Members Round Table would like to consider sponsoring your presentation! For consideration, please send your name, contact information, and a brief description of your proposed topic to nmrt.officers@gmail.com by March 30, 2012. You will be notified by April 15, 2012* if your presentation is accepted for sponsorship. Sessions are approximately 50 minutes in length.
Students –NMRT usually sponsors a conference poster session, which typically includes students and/or practicing librarians that each present a poster on the topic of their choice. Poster session presentation lengths vary on the amount of participants, but are around 10-15 minutes. If you are interested in presenting during the poster session, please e-mail your contact information and a brief description of your topic to nmrt.officers@gmail.com.
*Final proposals are due to the NLA Conference Planning Committee by April 30, 2012.
