Chrome's incognito mode

chrome-windows The other day I wrote about Friefox’s private browsing mode. Google’s Chrome browser has a similar feature they call incognito mode. To start Chrome in this mode automatically create a new desktop shortcut to the browser with -incognito on the end of the target line.

Have you tried Google’s new browser Chrome yet? All I can say is, it’s lightning fast. It’s not my default browser just yet as I miss the integration with my Delicious bookmarks and the odd Firefox plugin but I’m definitely using it on some of my older & slower computers. There’s also been reports of security holes so it’s not exactly ready for use on public computers just yet. For those that can’t install Chrome, try the portable version which runs off your flash drive.
